Leah Ann Adams
Leah Ann Adams, 46, of Nappanee, died peacefully at her home with her parents and family by her side at 8:45 a.m. Aug. 2, 2015, 10 month illness. She was born April 5, 1969, in Marshall, Mich.
She was a lifetime area resident. Leah was a 1987 graduate of NorthWood High School, and was a cabinet maker at Yoder Kitchen in Nappanee. She attended Community Church of Waterford in Goshen.
Surviving Leah are her mother and father: Karen Sue (Hepler) and Rex M. Forrest, Nappanee; sons: Joshua Allen Richmond, Milford; Kole Forrest Adams, Syracuse; daughter: Danielle Sue (Dustin) Casteel, Nappanee; grandchildren: Chance; Camiah; Ceara; Mackenzie Richmond; Keaton; Natalie Casteel; Karter Adams; sisters: Angela M. Salazar, Goshen; Pebbles Unsicker, Bremen; Tammy (Cory) Germann, Ocala, Fla.; and grandparents: Jack (Esther) Forrest, Sebring, Fla. She is also survived by many aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother: Kim Huber.
Leah was cremated and there will be a celebration of Leah’s life at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Family and friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the services. Pastor Mike Overpeck will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Leah Ann Adams memorial fund to help with medical and funeral expenses.
