Gradway Elects Brennan President
By BRITTANY LYON
Gradway Director
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Gradway announces the election of a new board president. Former Gradway Vice President, George Brennan, was unanimously voted in as president of the board of directors July 22.
The following is a letter to the board from Brennan:
“I would like to thank the Board of Directors for their confidence in ›electing me the new President of the Gradway board. I am delighted that Ot Schroeder will remain on the board and has agreed, pending board approval, to assume the Vice President position. I am also pleased that the board agreed to approve Brittany Lyon’s position as full time. Let me assure you, the benefits of having Brittany full time will more than offset the incremental costs.
“Under Ot’s leadership, Gradway is the most successful program of its kind in the State of Indiana! We are growing, expanding, and seeking more ways to help our students through partnerships in the community. As these changes come, we are excited to invite the community to participate by contacting Brittany to get involved. We will have volunteer opportunities, as well as committee spots available for those who wish to encourage and guide our local students to graduation through the Gradway program.
“To those who have donated, in any kind or amount, thank you! The success of this program is due in large part to your dedication through time, monetary donations, and partnerships.
In closing, I would like to thank you for your continued commitment and dedication to Gradway; promoting graduation one relationship at a time. The best is yet to come!”
