KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Congresswoman Jackie Walorski has announced the upcoming dates for her Get Regulation Out of the Way tour. She will be traveling in order to hear from farmers, business owners and manufacturers about how federal regulations have impacted their business.
She will be traveling throughout Indiana, but most notably, will be visiting Shatto Ditch in Mentone at 9 a.m., and Harsh Farms in Akron at 1:55 p.m. Aug. 13.
The two-day tour will cover much of northern Indiana, beginning in Elkhart and ending in Akron.
In the past, the Obama administration has issued over 500 major federal regulations, costing taxpayers almost $2 trillion. Walorski recently supported the prevention of federal regulations which cost manufacturers unnecessarily, and with her GROW tour, seeks to learn how she can do so more.
