Judy A. Gudas
Mrs. Judy A. Gudas, 49, of Kewanna was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away at her home on Aug. 1, 2015.
Born on July 1, 1966, in Three Oaks, Michigan, Judy Ann was a cherished daughter of William Thomas and Shirley Jane Hess Magers. Growing up she shared her childhood with a brother Joe and two sisters Betty and Gladys. With great pride she graduated from Lewis Cass High School in 1984.
In Winamac, on August 29, 2009, Judy married the love of her life and best friend, Eric John Gudas. Together they shared nearly six years of life’s adventures.
Left to cherish Judy’s memory are her husband: Eric, at home; a daughter: Heather Kay (companion Matt Houser) Wallace, Royal Center; four sons: Jeffrey William Green, Star City; Sean Eric (Amanda) Gudas, Rochester; Joel Ryan Gudas, Pierceton; Keith Allan Gudas, Winamac; two sisters: Betty (Levi) Spann, Star City; Gladys Magers; a brother: Joe (Rena) Magers; mother: Shirley (Randy) Coon, all of Logansport; eight grandchildren: Hunter Layne Wallace; Haylah Joe Wallace; Henley Matthew Houser; Seanna Lee Gudas; Savannah Jane Gudas; Searra Anne Gudas; Bladyn Gudas; Karter Gudas; in-laws: Algird and Erica Gudas, Winamac; and several nieces; nephews; and cousins who all adored her. Preceding her in death are father: William Thomas Magers, in 1983; and her grandparents.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. before the 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, service, at Church of the Heartland, Winamac. Pastor Heath Hiatt will officiate services and burial will follow at the Bruce Lake Cemetery. Immediately following the graveside, the family will host a dinner at the Bruce Lake Garage.
