MILFORD — Price Auto Repair in Milford is busy cleaning up this morning following damage caused by a fire Tuesday night, July 28.
Milford Fire Department responded to the blaze late last night. Milford firefighter Brian Haines said, “When we arrived, we had heavy smoke visible,” prompting the department to call for a full assist from Plain Township Fire Department in Leesburg.
According to Milford firefighter Todd Haines, Multi-Township EMS was also on scene.
Brian noted the fire was extinguished quickly after arrival, but there were obvious signs of “extensive fire and smoke damage.” Todd confirmed there was also damage cause by heat and water, although some contents of the building would likely be salvaged.
Brian confirmed that nobody was injured during the fire, and no persons were inside the building at the time of the blaze.
The fire appears to be accidental in nature, although the incident is still under investigation.
