Free Willy Movie And Swim Rescheduled
Nappanee’s Movies in the Park series continues with a rescheduled showing of “Free Willy” at the public pool at 9 p.m. Friday, July 31. All ages are invited to watch this 1993 family favorite while swimming or lounging poolside. Admission is $3 per person and includes an ice cream treat. The program is sponsored by the City of Nappanee Parks Department, Friends of the Nappanee Public Library, and Lake City Bank. Teen Tuesday
Kids in sixth grade through high school are invited to spray paint T-shirts with fabric paint and a geometric masking technique at the next ‘Teen Tuesday’ program at the library. Meet in the cube, from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4. All materials, including shirts, will be supplied and snacks will be provided. No registration is necessary. Pinterest Night
Make a variety of felt flower embellishments at the next Pinterest Night at the Nappanee Library! Crafters will meet in the cube, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12. All materials will be provided to make a set of three flowers. Cost is $5 for each set.
All ages are welcome, but children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Pinterest Night is designed as a collaborative, learn-as-you-make program where participants share ideas and tips to complete popular projects found on Pinterest, the virtual bulletin board and Internet hub for bookmarking lifestyle links and images.
