Final WACF Lake Talks And Eats
SYRACUSE — At 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, the final WACF Lake Talk & Eats for 2015 will highlight invasive species in and out of the lake.
Speakers Jim Donahoe (Aquatic Weed Control) and Rod Edgell (Division of Fish and Wildlife) will discuss how species such as starry atonewort, Asian carp, zebra mussels and others affect lakes and what can be done about them.
A light breakfast will be served. Join other local residents at the WACF Levinson-LaBrosse Lakes and Wetlands Education Center (one mile south of Syracuse on SR 13) for this talk.
