WARSAW — The Advance America location at 3634 Commerce Drive, Warsaw, is hosting a “Give Back to School Drive” from now through Aug. 8, to benefit Claypool Elementary.

Advance America will also raffle a backpack of school supplies including: index cards, scissors, glue sticks, paper, pencils and notebooks. All customers are eligible to enter to win the backpack.

“Our commitment to serving the community extends beyond the walls of our center,” said Amber Brown, divisional director of operations. “We are proud to support the education of children right in our own neighborhood through our give back to school program.”

Everyone in the community is invited to join Advance America’s give back to school celebration that will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 1, at the Advance America, 3634 Commerce Drive, Warsaw. The event will include snacks, drinks and the backpack drawing.

Advance America’s give back to school program is a part of the company’s broader community outreach effort, which seeks to give back to both its customers and employees. The company works year-round with nonprofits in local communities to provide a number of services, including collecting clothing, food and stuffed animals for children and families in need; holding blood drives that have saved hundreds of lives as well as volunteering at soup kitchens.
