WCS Middle Schools Host 1:1 Meetings For iPad Minis
For students entering seventh grade who participated in the 1:1 program last year as a sixth grade student, parents and students may attend from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. or from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3.
For students who are new to the 1:1 program and will be a seventh or eighth grade student this year, parents and students may attend from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. or from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4.
All meetings will be held at the Warsaw Community High School Performing Arts Center located at 1 Tiger Lane, Warsaw. Students will receive their iPad Mini at the meeting.
Parents will also have the opportunity to purchase a product protection plan for $25 to limit their liability for accidental damage. Parents wishing to participate will need to bring cash or a check made out to Warsaw Community Schools.
Parents and students who cannot attend either of the meetings may plan to have the student pick up their iPad mini from the Media Center during their first day of school. Students will not be permitted to take the iPad home until parents have signed the 1:1 program paperwork.
Parents of incoming sixth grade students for the 2015-2016 school year will be invited to attend one of several meetings in their individual elementary school in late August. More information will be released as those meetings are scheduled. Sixth-grade-students will use the iPad mini at school and will not bring them home until after Labor Day.
