Alley W. Dile
Alley W. Dile, 85, Pierceton, passed away at 8:45 a.m. Friday, July 24, at her home surrounded by her children.
She was born Oct. 27, 1929, in Springfield, Ky., to Thomas Jefferson and Flossie Mae (Harden) Coulter. She was a graduate of Mackville High School, in Mackville, Ky., and married Leslie J. Dile on July 6, 1946.
She worked in production for Whitley Products in Pierceton and retired from Lyle Electric in Larwill. She was a member of Dutchtown Brethren Church, Warsaw.
Alley is survived by her son: Tony Dile, Pierceton; three daughters: Peggy (Dan) Jones-LaTurner, Auburn; Vickie Krom, Pierceton; and Joanie (Bruce) Foreman, Pierceton; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren; one brother: Doris Coulter, Springfield, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Leslie J. Dile, on June 18, 2005; five sisters: Mattie Belle Settles; Effie Goode; Ruby Willis; Edith Gowins; Lucille Dean; three brothers: Arvel Coulter; Carl Coulter; and J.R. Coulter.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, July 27, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, also at the funeral home and officiated by friend of the family, Pastor Glen Frances. Burial will be Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
