NORTH WEBSTER — Dixie Day is on the way all day Saturday, July 25. It is sponsored by the North Webster-Tippecanoe Township Chamber of Commerce and President Sue Ward, Sue’s Creations, asked for more volunteer participation from members at the Monday, July 13, general meeting in the North Webster American Legion, Post 253.

Ward thanked Steve Ward, Tippecanoe Township trustee, and Stoelting, for stepping up to fill in for those unable to attend a tapeing about Dixie Day for “Michiana Experiences” on WNIT last Thursday. The show was aired Friday and will soon be able to view on the WNIT website, www.wnit.org.
Those videographing segments for WNIT-TV’s series, “Our Hometown” featuring North Webster, were reminded they must make an appointment with producer Tracey Carter to turn in their video and tape a segment for the show. Appointments are from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, and Tuesday, Aug. 11, at the Tippecanoe Township Building. Call Carter (312) 404-2776 or email [email protected]. Appointments are required.

This is a chamber fundraiser.
Ward saluted the chamber Business or Organization of the Month for July. It is the town of North Webster, always a willing and helpful participant in community development and events.
