Six Injured In Accident
WARSAW — Six people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday, July 3, at North CR 100E north of East CR 300N. The accident was at 9:43 p.m.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputy Neil Likens reports Paul R. Roth, 29, East Riverside Drive, Warsaw, was heading north on CR 100E in his 2005 Mitsubishi when a black 2003 Lincoln Navigator, driven by Lorentina Cervantes, 43, East CR 200N, Warsaw, pulled out in front of him.
Roth, who complained of shoulder/upper arm pain, and his passengers, Cynthia A. Sherburne, 22, East Riverside Drive, Warsaw, and Sophia Roth, 1, East Riverside Drive, Warsaw, were taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for further medical treatment. Sherburne complained of pain to her entire body. The 1-year-old, who was in a car seat, showed no visible sign of injury but was transported.
Cervantes suffered a potential neck injury. Passengers in her vehicle: Myrka Cervantes, 18, East CR 200N, Warsaw, and Millie Cervantes, 2, East CR 200N, Warsaw, both complained of pain to their entire bodies. All three were also transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital.
Damage has been estimated up to $10,000.
Multi-Township EMS, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Warsaw Police, Warsaw/Wayne Fire Department responded.
