Loy H. Stover
Loy H. Stover, 76, died at 8:43 p.m. Thursday, July 2, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born June 15, 1939, in Howard County, to Esmond and Bessie (Lovel) Stover. He was a 1958 graduate of Kokomo High School and married Maxine Mills on March 4, 1961, in Kokomo. He served in the United States Army, and was employed by Fleet, Inc., for 40 years. He retired in 2005 as an environmental and safety director. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where he was an elder.
Loy is survived by his wife: Maxine Stover, Warsaw; two daughters: Laura Hunter, Warsaw; Leslie Oberg, Warsaw; one son: Michael (Jennifer) Stover, North Manchester; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister: Roselee (Stanley) White, Mooresville. He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Warsaw, before the 2 p.m. service, officiated by Elder Ray Salazar. Memorials can be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
