UPDATE: Accident On CR 700N Near Leesburg
UPDATE: Corn growing near the intersection of CR 700N and CR 200W, Leesburg, obstructed the view of 18-year-old Timothy J. Cramer, 602 S. Manor Drive, Syracuse, Tuesday evening. Cramer drove into the intersection hitting another vehicle.
The accident occurred at 5:37 p.m.
Cramer complained of pain to the chest, but was not transported.
Cramer told police he was southbound on CR 200E, stopped and did not see any traffic on CR 700N, due to a corn field. He then drove into the intersection colliding with an eastbound vehicle driven by Christine L. Kistler, 39, East CR 800N, North Webster. Kistler was not injured.
Damage was estimated up to $10,000.
The accident was investigated by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. Leesburg Fire Department and Multi-Township EMS also responded.
Emergency personnel are currently responding to an accident located in the area of CR 700N and CR 200E, east of Leesburg.
One individual at the scene complained of chest injuries.
