Cohen Tom, Jozie Mishler 2015 Cutie King And Queen
The field of 36 Cutie Queen and 16 Cutie King contestants was narrowed down to four before Cohen Tom, son of Chad and Amanda Tom, Leesburg; and Jozie Mishler, daughter of Franklin and Jami Mishler, Pierceton were crowned the 2015 Mermaid Festival Cutie King and Queen.
Runner ups for Cutie King were: William Smith, son of William and Nikki Smith, Sheriville, first runner up; Kaiden Moore, son of Jaron Moore and Whitney Walker North Webster, second runner up; and Riah Byng, son of Jeremy and Giner Byng, Goshen, fourth runner up.
Runner ups for Cutie Queen were Zaiyla Marion, daughter of Lauren Shortill, first runner-up; Karlee Clevenger, daughter of Buster Clevenger and Heather DeSomer, second runner-up; and Jaclyn Trowbridge, daughter of Chris and Shannon Trowbridge, Leesburg, third runner-up.
The Cutie King and Queen each received a $5,000 scholarship with second place receiving $2,500; third place, $2,500; and fourth place, $1,000.
The pageant is sponsored by the North Webster Lioness Club with Shoop Sports and Youth Foundation, Inc., sponsoring the event.
During the pageant winners of the cutie parade were announced. The parade is hosted by the North Webster Lions Club.
The Best of Show went to Everett Guy.
Winners in the walking division were: Carter Grady, first; Oskar Moreno-Elst, second; Ella Stewart, third; and Delaney Hare, fourth.
Hand drawn winners were: Jaxon Nabinger, first; Marin Szynal, second; Brynn VanLaeken, third; and Quinlynn Risendorph, fourth.
The winners in the motorized division were: Devin VanLue, first; Hayden Castro, second; Ellie Kopkey, third; and Kenlee Grady, fourth.
First place winners in each division received $5,000; second place, $2,500; third place, $1,500; and fourth place, $1,000.
