Jazz On The Lawn Returning To Wabash
Tickets are now on sale for the Honeywell House’s 5th annual Jazz on the Lawn concert taking place at 7 p.m. Friday, July 31. This event is made possible by lead sponsors First Merchants Bank and Lundquist Appraisal & Real Estate. Associate sponsors are Beacon Credit Union, Metal Source, J.M. Reynolds Oil Comp., Inc., Wabash Electric Supply and Wendy’s of Wabash.
Jazz on the Lawn will feature the Indianapolis-based Cool City Band performing favorites from the “Great American Songbook” including Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael, Duke Ellington and more. Opening act, vocalist Brett Wiscons, will take the stage from 6 to 6:45 p.m. to kick off the event. The lawn opens at 5 p.m.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at www.honeywellcenter.org or by calling the Honeywell Center Box Office at (260) 563-1102. Prices are $10 for adults and $5 for youth through high school. Entry is free for children 2 years and younger. For groups looking to make a memorable evening while attending the concert as well as help support the Honeywell House, an elegantly covered table for 8 may be reserved for a cost of $250. This reservation option comes with mood-setting candles and a welcome basket that includes two bottles of imported wine, cheese, crackers and a selection of fresh fruit.
Concessions will offer favorite grilled items, light appetizers, and drinks. Guests may bring their own lawn chairs or blankets, as well as bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages. The Honeywell House, owned and operated by the Honeywell Foundation, serves as a cultural house museum to the surrounding community and beyond.
