Mediacom Reaches Carriage Agreement With Granite Broadcasting
Mediacom Communications today announced it has reached a carriage agreement with Granite Broadcasting Corporation covering KBJR-NBC and MY 9 in the Duluth, MN market, WISE-NBC and MyTV in the Fort Wayne market, and WEEK-NBC in the Peoria, Ill. market.
“We thank our customers for their patience and continued loyalty as we worked to reach a new contract with Granite Broadcasting,” said Ed Pardini, Mediacom’s Senior vice president of field operations.
The Granite stations will be immediately reinstated on the Mediacom channel lineup in the markets where Granite operates the primary network affiliate. In the areas where Granite does not operate the primary network affiliate, the Granite stations may be reinstated temporarily, but will be discontinued over the next several months.
