Warsaw Offering Paddle Boarding Clinics
The city of Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department is offering six paddle boarding clinics this summer at Pike Lake Beach located just north of the swimming beach pier.
This exciting new program for beginners, teenagers and adults (ages 12 and up) will focus on basic balance, coordination and paddling skills while sitting or standing on a lightweight, easy to maneuver padded surfboard. Clinics are led by an experienced paddle board instructor.
Clinic fee is only $8 per person and includes the board, lifejacket, paddle and a great time. A waiver and rules sheet must be signed by each participant, which must be signed by parent for anyone under the age of 18.
Participants must register by 4 p.m. the day before each scheduled clinic. There will be no registration day of the event.
Clinic dates will be:
- 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday June 13
- 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday June 29
- 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday July 11
- 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday July 20
- 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday Aug. 8
- 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24
