Doris M. Breading
Doris M. Breading, 100, Warsaw, passed away at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2015, in Mason Healthcare, Warsaw.
She was born Oct. 11, 1914, in Burket, to Glen and Ethel (Davis) Hatfield. The family moved to Warsaw in 1915.
She was a 1933 graduate of Warsaw High School, where she was a GAA Honor Girl. She married Robert L. “Bob” Breading Jr. on Nov. 21, 1938, in Warsaw. She was co-owner with her husband and bookkeeper of Service Electric for 71 years.
Doris was an active member of First United Methodist Church, Delta Theta Tau Sorority, Warsaw Arts and Crafts. Her hobbies included sewing, crafts, bowling, auctions and going to garage sales.
She is survived by her son: James “Jim” (Dixie) Breading, Warsaw; Penny Breading, Warsaw; three grandchildren: James (Nikki) Breading, Plainfield; John BReading, Warsaw; and Danna Breading, Fort Myers, Fla.; and three great-grandchildren: Bianca; Lily; and Charlotte.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert L. “Bob” Breading, on Oct. 29, 2001; three sisters; two brothers; and one granddaughter: Dee Ann Breading.
Visitatin will be from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday, June 13, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. The service will be held at the funeral home at noon Saturday, officiated by Pastor Jim McKibbin. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
