Wanda Mae Richardson
Wanda Mae Richardson, of Pierceton, passed away at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at her residence at the age of 84.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she was a homemaker, and a member of Harvest Community Church in Pierceton. Wanda loved to bake and garden….but most of all she especially loved her children and grandchildren.
Wanda was born on June 30, 1930, in Pierceton, Indiana to Charles L. Haas and Ruby Mae (Galbreath) Haas. On Feb. 1, 1947, she was married to Jesse J. Richardson for 48 years. He preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 1995.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Patricia (Terry) Mast, Syracuse; two sons: Danny (Sharon) Richardson, Syracuse; Larry (Laura) Richardson, Pierceton; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother: Floyd E. Haas, Glendale, Ariz.; and two sisters: Margaret Joann Weber, Ariz.; and Kathryn Rojean, Miami, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister; two infant sons: Max; and Junior; son: Randall Richardson, who died April 26, 2013, one granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, June 12, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. Her funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, and will be officiated by Pastor Glenn E. Hall. Burial will follow with a graveside service at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
