2015 Mentone Egg Festival Parade
The weather was beautiful for the last day of this year’s Mentone Egg Festival. The sun shined on all of the visitors Saturday morning as the parade marched downtown. This year’s parade started at 11 a.m. and most of the floats followed along with the theme of “There is no Place Like Home.”
The parade was led by the Indiana Patriot Guard, the group escorted the flags while riding their motorcycles. This year’s Parade Marshal was Paul Haist. Haist, 90, was a past member and president of the Mentone Chamber of Commerce. He also is active member of the Mentone United Methodist Church.
