A group of fifth grade Washington students visited the campus of Howe Military Academy to learn about their CyberPatriot program.
CyberPatriot is the premier national youth cyber education program created to inspire high school and middle school students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines critical to our nation’s future.
This fall, a team of Washington students will compete in the CyberPatriot program. With the help and advice of Howe Military Academy team members and coaches, the Washington team looks to make huge strides in their quest to learn more about cyber protection.
Ben Barkey, Washington’s STEM Coach says, “We are excited to offer this program at Washington STEM Academy. It will give our students an advantage when it comes to computer knowledge and safety.”
