Austin M. Lahey
Austin M. Lahey, 18, of Winchester, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born on Dec. 22, 1996 in Winchester. He had attended Winchester Community High School and enjoyed sports and music. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his parents: April Lahey, Winchester; and Chedric Wright, Lafayette; three sisters: Kiarra Wright; and Amiayah Alvarez, both of Winchester; and Cierra Wright, Crawfordsville; maternal grandparents: Keith and Kay Lahey, Winchester; grandmother: Paula Morton, Crawfordsville; maternal great-grandparents: Ronald and Pauline Lahey, Marion; godmother: Tasha Gardner, Warsaw; uncle: Brad Lahey, Winchester; uncle: Ronald Saldana, Winchester; uncle: Colt Saldana, Warsaw; uncle: Mohommad Morton; aunt: Maddie Morton; uncle: Micah Morton; uncle: Cade Morton; and uncle: Zeke Morton; as well as best friend: Chris Anderson; and lifelong brothers: Trea Kelly and Donte Meek.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Marcus Stovall.
Funeral services for Austin will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 29, at the Main Street Christian Church, Winchester with Pastor Richard Collins officiating.
Friends and relatives may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 28, at the church and also one hour prior to services.
Memorials can be made to the family in care of Walker Funeral Home, with envelopes available at the church. Memorial t-shirts will be available at Sandifar Tire Store in Winchester.
