Donations Needed
We are gearing up for the summer reading program and need a few items to be able to do some of our crafts. We are looking for t-shirts of any size and any kind so that we can make them into capes with the kids. Along with shirts, we are looking for donations of toilet paper rolls to use this summer as well. If you have any of these and would like to donate, give us a call at (574) 658-4312 or bring them down to the children’s department. We appreciate any donations. Let’s make it a great summer reading program.
2015 Summer Reading Program at Milford Public Library
Join us and be a superhero this summer. Our summer reading program starts up next week on Monday, June 1. Come into the library and start signing up on Monday, June 1. The theme this year for children, newborn through fifth grade, is “Every Hero Has a Story”.
The theme for the teens, from sixth grade to high school, is “Unmask!” For every five hours that a kid reads, they will receive a prize. Along with prizes, we have wonderful programs planned for all ages this summer. Be sure to attend our food and fun days, teen events, free programs, family story time, and the community ice cream social. We kick off our summer reading program at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, with a superhero carnival. There will be a special appearance by Spiderman. Stop by the library and get involved in our summer reading program. Join the league of superhero
Long Range Survey
How do you think our library is doing? Why not get online and fill out our long range survey available at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/3LYXMJZ and let us know what we can do to better serve you. We sent out email surveys and if you have filled out the survey already, we thank you! If you have not filled out the survey, go online or come in to the library and grab a paper copy through the month of May.
This allows you, the patrons, to have input on our library’s long-range plan for the next three years. The Library board and staff rely on the information collected through these surveys to plan the next three years. Hope to hear from you soon.
Any questions, give us a call at (574) 658-4312.
