Milford Teen Dies From CR 300N/Bowser Road Accident
A Milford teen has died following an afternoon crash today at CR 300N and Bowser Road, east of Milford.
Chelsea L. Fetters, 18, Milford, died from her injuries approximately three hours after the accident, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was initially immediately transported from the scene by Multi-Township EMS to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She suffered internal injuries.
Kosciusko County officers and emergency personnel responded to a 3:37 p.m. 9-1-1 call of a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Bowser Road and CR 300E. Officers arrived and located Fetters, driver of a Pontiac Grand Prix, in critical condition.
Kosciusko County F.A.C.T./crash investigation team members arrived and initially determined that Fetters had been eastbound on Bowser Road, approaching CR 300E, and slowed for the stop sign. A Dodge pickup, driven by Jason P. Pressler, 40, Goshen, was southbound on CR 300E., approaching the intersection. Fetters suddenly pulled directly into the path of Pressler’s vehicle. Pressler and two passengers in Pressler’s vehicle were treated at the scene.
Kosciusko County F.A.C.T. team members state the crash is still under investigation.
The Kosciusko County F.A.C.T. team was also assisted at the scene by members of the Milford Fire Department, Milford Police Department, Syracuse Police Department, Indiana State Police, and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
