Warsaw To Hold Pole Vault Camp
WARSAW – The Warsaw girls track and field program will host a Pole Vault Camp in June.
The camp is open to girls who will be in grades 7-12 for the 2015-16 school year.
Session I of the camp will be held June 9-11 from 1-2:30 p.m. Session II will take place June 16-18 from 9-10:30 a.m. There will be a limit of 12 campers per each session.
The purpose of the camp is to teach how to pole vault safely and to also improve vaulter’s skill level in the event.
Cost of the camp is $30 for one session or $50 for both sessions. The cost includes instruction, a T-shirt, video taping, snacks and water.
The camp will be run by Warsaw girls track coach Scott Erba, the 10-time NLC Coach of the Year. Claire Hickerson, a WCHS assistant coach and a two-time state qualifier and the school record holder in the pole vault, will also be a camp instructor.
