Lois M. Richey
Lois M. Richey, 79, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 11, at her Leesburg residence.
She was born April 11, 1936, in Ney Ohio to Richard and Juanita (Thomas) Mack. She was a 1954 graduate of Butler High School.
Lois married Leo Richey on Sept. 15, 1955, in Angola and resided most of her life in Kosciusko County. She was the secretary for the Pepsi-Cola Warsaw Plant for 10 years, retiring in 1977.
She was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, Warsaw Bowling Association, and was inducted into its Hall of Fame, and the North Webster American Legion Auxiliary Post 258. SHe enjoyed playing shuffle board, fishing and hunting, as well as crochet. She was an avid NASCAR fan and especially followed Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr., and enjoyed watching birds and being around flowers.
She is survived by her husband: Leo Richey, Leesburg; two sons: Larry (Sue) Richey, Leesburg; Matt Richey, Warsaw; two daughters: Faith (Matt) Kirkendall, Warsaw; and Juanita (Gale) Danner, Warsaw; nine grandchildren: Eric; Chantelle; Amber; Roger; Nellie; Samantha; Shanna; Alexis; Emma; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother: Tom Mack, St. Joseph; two sisters: Bobbi (Joe) Crager, Waterlo; and Chris (Max) Baughman, Butler.
Lois was preceded in death by four brothers: Frank Mack; Mike Mack; Ronald Mack; Dick Mack; and one sister: Diane Kunce.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until noon Monday, May 18, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Service will follow at noon, also at the funeral home, with Pastor Bob Jarboe, chaplain for Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice, officiating.
