Lincoln Elementary Teachers Say Thank You
Dear Editor,
Lincoln Elementary School has been an important part of the Warsaw community since 1959. The passing of the recent referendum will help secure the Lincoln legacy in this community for many years to come. We would like to publicly thank the community for supporting the cause.
Thank you to Dr. David Hoffert and the vast team of community minded volunteers that helped with all the work that went into the referendum. Phone calls were made, signs were placed and conversations took place because of the hundreds of people who decided to make a difference. We appreciate everyone who supported the “Vote Yes” campaign.
Now we look forward to a new building here at Lincoln Elementary School. Many things will change in the coming months. Many things will also stay the same. A school is so much more than brick and mortar. We promise that the new building will be a place where students will continue to feel loved and appreciated. We promise that we will continue to hold students to rigorous academic and social expectations. We promise to use the new building as a tool to fulfill the Warsaw Community Schools Mission Statement.
The mission of Warsaw Community Schools is to inspire and equip all students to continuously acquire and apply knowledge and skills while pursuing their dreams and enriching the lives of others.
Sincerely,
Lincoln Elementary School Teachers
