Weather Delays For Monday, May 11
The rain in the area has begun to force the hands of high school athletic directors on what is a very busy Monday of sports. We will be updating this file throughout the day as delays come in.
Wawasee’s softball game scheduled for today at NorthWood has been postponed until tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12, with a 5 p.m. start at Stauffer Park. The Wawasee softball game at home rescheduled for Tuesday with Elkhart Memorial has been pushed to Thursday, May 14, with a 5 p.m. start at Wawasee.
Wawasee’s baseball home game scheduled for today with NorthWood has been postponed until tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12, with a 5 p.m. start at Wawasee. The Wawasee baseball road game rescheduled for Tuesday at Elkhart Memorial has been pushed to Thursday, May 14, with a 5 p.m. start at Elkhart Memorial.
Consequently for NorthWood, its baseball game Tuesday with Bethany Christian has been cancelled and will not be made up to make room for the Wawasee game. The NorthWood JV baseball team will also play Saturday at Whitko. The NorthWood-Northridge baseball game has been moved to Saturday at NorthWood to accommodate scheduling.
The Wawasee C-team baseball game scheduled for Thursday at Elkhart Memorial is cancelled and will not be made up.
The Wawasee girls tennis home match with Plymouth has been postponed to tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12, with a 4:45 p.m. start time at Wawasee.
Warsaw’s home softball game against Goshen (which was rained out on May 8) has been moved to Thursday, May 16, with a 5 p.m. start. The home softball game for tonight, Monday, May 11, versus Plymouth has been moved to Tuesday, May 12, with a 5 p.m. start.
The Warsaw at Plymouth varsity and JV baseball games tonight have been moved to Tuesday, May 12, with a 5 p.m. first pitch for each contest. Consequently, the varsity and JV baseball games at Goshen (which were rained out on May 8) have been moved to Thursday, May 14, with a 5 p.m. start time in Goshen.
The Northern Lakes Conference boys golf triangular between Warsaw, Elkhart Memorial and Plymouth at the Plymouth Country Club tonight has been moved to Wednesday, May 13, with a 5 p.m. first tee time.
The Warsaw-Goshen girls tennis match for today has been moved to the Warsaw Racquet Club with a 4:45 p.m. start.
Triton’s varsity and JV baseball home games for today with Bremen have been moved to Tuesday, May 19, with a 5 p.m. start time. The Triton-Warsaw JV baseball game scheduled for May 19 has been cancelled with no make-up.
The Triton-Bremen varsity and JV softball games for today at Bremen have been moved to Thursday, May 14, with a 5 p.m. start at Sunnyside Park in Bremen.
Triton’s home girls tennis match scheduled for today with South Bend Riley has been postponed to Wednesday, May 13, with a 5 p.m. start time at Triton.
Triton’s JV softball game with Jimtown scheduled for Thursday will be moved to Friday, May 15, to begin after the Triton-Jimtown varsity game at Keyser Field.
Tippecanoe Valley’s varsity baseball and softball games at Rochester for today will be made up Thursday, May 14, at Rochester. The Tippecanoe Valley JV softball game at Logansport has been cancelled with no make-up date announced.
Tippecanoe Valley’s varsity baseball added a game to help with weather cancellations, a road game at Concord Friday, May 22, with a 5:30 p.m. first pitch in Dunlap.
The Tippecanoe Valley at Manchester girls tennis match was called with a make-up date for Wednesday, May 13, at 4:30 p.m.
Tippecanoe Valley was to host Whitko in boys golf Monday, but was rained out and no make-up date was immediately announced.
The Tippecanoe Valley-North Miami-Whitko track meet for Monday was cancelled without a make-up date immediately announced.
Whitko’s baseball and softball games at North Miami for today have been cancelled. Both teams will head to North Miami Thursday, May 14, for their respective games starting at 5 p.m.
Whitko’s girls tennis match at Central Noble was cancelled before the rain as Central had to use the date to meet a conference match make-up. The dual between Whitko and Central Noble will not be made up.
