Helen E. ‘Lee’ Yendrocha
Helen E. “Lee” Yendrocha, 92, of Buffalo Grove, Ill., died at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at the home of her niece in Nappanee. She was born July 9, 1922, in Chicago, to Frank and Theresa (Smrzik) Yendrocha.
Miss Yendrocha lived her lifetime in the Chicago area. She had worked at the Wittik Company in Chicago. She was a member of St. Edna’s Catholic Church in Buffalo Grove where she was active with the Young at Heart Seniors Group.
Miss Yendrocha is survived by nieces: Dianne (Dennis) Debelak, Nappanee; Mary (Brian) McGuire, Stuart, Florida; Kathleen (Howard) Hansen, The Villages, Florida; Mary Therese Yendrocha, Chicago; and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, sisters: Fran Dunne; and Millie Wager; brother: Joe Yendrocha; and niece, Eileen Dzwonkiewicz.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, at St. Edna’s Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Rodolfo Ramirez. A private inurment for the family will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Ill. Memorial contributions may be given in Helen’s name to the Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart.
