Heartline Pregnancy Center Celebrates 30 Years
By EMILY M. SHIPLEY
Development Coordinator, Heartline Pregnancy Center
In 1985, Tim and Marcia Meyer recognized a growing need in the community for young women finding themselves in an unplanned pregnancy to be given an alternative choice to abortion, thus they founded Heartline Pregnancy Center, Inc. What was the Meyer’s vision thirty years ago has since grown to a ministry serving three counties with multiple programs.
Heartline Pregnancy Center, Inc. invites the community to the Gathering of Hope, a 30th Anniversary banquet and fundraiser on Tuesday, May 12, at Christ’s Covenant Church, Warsaw.
Doors for the event open at 5:30 p.m. and an Amish catered dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Senator Amanda Banks from District 17 will be the evening program’s emcee.
Tickets for the Gathering of Hope are $8 per person and available at www.friendsofheartline.webs.com. Questions and corporate sponsorship requests can be directed to (574) 372-3524.
