Helga Tess
Helga Tess, 55, went home to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, in Warsaw.
Helga was the second daughter born to Walter and Heidi (Knauss) Linn on Aug. 24, 1959, in Logansport. She and her loving husband Glenn were united in marriage on July 23, 1980.
Helga graduated near the top of her Warsaw High School class, attended Purdue University, studied in Tours, France and most recently was learning Digital Graphic Design. Her artistic and design giftedness was expressed in various mediums throughout her life. Life activities and adventures that she enjoyed included; competitive tennis, swimming, whitewater rafting and skydiving. She formerly worked at R.R. Donnelley & Sons and as a Paralegal Secretary for a Patent Agent. Helga attended Warsaw Community Church.
Helga was a gracious and compassionate woman who was loved by all who knew her. She served her Lord wherever He called her; including many years leading a Bible study for incarcerated women. She gave life to those who knew her and will be deeply missed.
Helga is survived by her husband: Glenn; her mother: Heidi Linn, Warsaw; her sister: Heidi Jamesen (Mark); her sister-in-laws: Brenda Chamness, Rhonda Meyer (Craig) and Paulette Miller (Tom); and many nieces and nephews.
Helga was preceded in death by her father: Walter; her sister: Kyra; her father-in-law: Milt Tess; and mother-in-law: Betty Tess.
In accordance with Helga’s wishes there will not be a memorial service. Donations in her memory can be made to the Warsaw Homeless Shelter.
