Police Seek Public Information On Missing South Bend Woman
South Bend officers are currently searching for a South Bend woman who has been missing since early Sunday morning.
According to officials, 22-year-old Alma Del Real has not been seen since being dropped off at her home by a friend at 3:30 a.m. Sunday after visiting a South Bend club.
According to information from the South Bend Police Department, investigators working the case are getting information being passed via friends and relatives of Alma. This information is reportedly being circulated by individuals posting to social media sites such as Facebook.
“While we encourage dialog, much of this information could help the investigators pursuing the case. Please call us directly with any and all information, however trivial. Several pieces of helpful information that were discussed amongst Alma’s friends via social media could have moved the investigation forward had police received the messages first-hand in a timely manner,” states the department in a public notice.
Del Real reportedly works as a cashier at Wells Fargo as well as working as a make-up artist. Sources state Real is not the type of person to neglect work or leave without an explanation. Officials state she has not been seen, heard from or seen on social media since her disappearance.
She was last seen wearing light blue high-waisted pants, a black top and a leather jacket. She is 5’5” and 137 pounds.
