Emma Christine Schooley
Emma Christine Schooley, 91, died at 7:35 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Grace Village Healthcare, Winona Lake.
She was born Oct. 23, 1923, in Warsaw, to Maynard M. and Ruth Violet (Banghart) Denny.
She married Robert E. Schooley on June 20, 1942, in Warsaw. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1999.
She is a 1941 graduate of Warsaw High School and was a lifetime Kosciusko County resident. A homemaker, she attended Cook’s Chapel and was a member of Lamplighter Home Ec Club, sewing club and an avid basketball fan.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie (Terry) Harrell, Plymouth and Rebecca Murphy, Warsaw; one son, Dennis (Claudia) Schooley, Nashville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Shepherd, North Manchester; and one brother, Jerry (Janice) Banghart, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister, Betty Cook and brother, Robert Denny.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at Tittus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Titus Funeral Home. Pastor Earl Futch and Pastor Hank Lowman of Cooks Chapel Church will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
