Carolyn E. Fisher
Carolyn E. Fisher, 88, of Columbia City, and formerly of Muskegon, Mich., passed away at 4:26 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City.
Born Sept. 27, 1926, in Mishawaka, she was the daughter of Francis L. and Leona (Tharp) Cox.
She had worked in Logansport at RBM before moving up to Muskegon. On Dec. 17, 1972, Carolyn married John Fisher in Muskegon. While living there, she had worked at a few apartment complexes, designed and sold crafts and raising Pomeranian dogs. Along with her dogs and crafts, she also enjoyed sitting down to a good puzzle. Five years ago, Carolyn moved from Muskegon to Columbia City to be closer to her niece, Twila (Walter) Helvie.
She is survived by her sister: Gwendolyn Bess, Tipton; granddaughter: Star Rose, Ky.; grandson: Jimbo Rose, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents: Francis and Leona Cox; husband: John Fisher; son: James Rose; an infant son; two brothers; and three sisters.
Carolyn was cremated and arrangements entrusted to DeMoney-Grimes, a life story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.
