The Nappanee Area Chamber of Commerce will host a forum for new candidates running for available positions. The event will serve as an opportunity for members of the Nappanee to meet candidates running for a position for the first time. The forum will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at Dal-Mar Banquet Hall, 159 E. Lincoln St., Nappanee.

The new candidates are:

• Phil Jenkins and Patricia Wyant, running for Mayor.
• Kimberly Ingle and Edd Shepard, running for City Council, District 2 Representative.
• Dana Hollar, running for City Council, District 4 Representative.
• Sheila Losee, running for an at-large City Council seat.
• Kathy Brown, running for Clerk Treasurer (unopposed).

The event will be free and open to the public. Randall Girod, Chairman of the Kosciusko County Republican Party will moderate a discussion with the new candidates.
