Volunteer Opportunities Available To Support WCS Referendum

Volunteer Coordinators of Friends of Warsaw Community Schools
The great reputation of WCS has attracted many families to our community and therefore keeps our property values high. Our school corporation also attracts and retains the best educators who are committed to inspiring and equipping the youth of our community.
Our children have spent their instructional years with some of the finest teachers without which their accomplishments, both personal and academic, would not be realized. Many of our teachers and administrators were Warsaw graduates themselves, and have come back to enrich the lives of future generations.
Unfortunately, some of our schools fail to provide the safe and proper learning environment all kids deserve. The aging Lincoln Elementary and classroom trailers would be replaced with a new school that would provide a safer, less crowded and technology-ready learning environment. The other two schools included in this project would receive student-based upgrades to improve unsafe infrastructure, crowded hallways and classrooms, increased security and elimination of dangerous safety issues.
Our community needs your support and volunteer efforts as we enter into the campaign to pass the local referendum. Your participation in the campaign is vital to ensure a successful outcome for our community.
Our students are on the ballot. Please offer your support through raising awareness by traveling door to door to speak with area residents, make phone calls, participate in data entry, participate in election day and write letters and raise public support. Yard signs will also be available for those looking to support the referendum.
Please email us at [email protected] or phone number (574) 527-2440 in order to make a difference. Spread the word!
The fastest way to sign up to volunteer is by visiting our web page supportWCS.com. The campaign is privately funded by individual donations and does not utilize tax dollars.
