Late last year, Old National Bank hosted the Vote For Your Favorite Charity contest as a way to celebrate the communities that the bank serves.
The winner’s have been chosen, and Old National opted to honor Warsaw’s winning charity, Magical Meadows, at a special check presentation at the Old National Bank Warsaw location.
“Tina Rice got us involved in this project,” said Magical Meadows founder Tammy Stackhouse. “We were very honored about that.”
Rice and her daughter Lizzie, who rides at Magical Meadows, were present at the check presentation, as well as Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer and a number of Old National Bank representatives. Magical Meadows is funded with grants and donations, such as the $1,000 generously donated by the bank.
Stackhouse stated that the funds will be used to continue Magical Meadows’ programs. She said Magical Meadows has recently joined forces with Warsaw Community Schools, and WCS students will be able to help with programs as part of their curriculum. The donation will help Magical Meadows’ mission of improving the lives of special needs people through therapeutic horseback riding.
