Patsy Ruth Ousley
Patsy Ruth Ousley, 80, of Claypool, passed away 8:30 a.m. Sunday, March 22, 2015, in Warsaw Meadows Care Center, Warsaw.
On Oct. 5, 1934, she was born in Floyd County, Ky., to Albert and Anna Jane (Stephens) Hall. She was united in marriage to Curtis Ousley on June 27, 1950, in Floyd County.
She moved to Kosciusko County from Floyd County, Ky., in 1961. She was a full-time homemaker who enjoyed making dresses, raising large gardens, including a flower garden, canning vegetables, crafts and cooking. She also loved to read her bible, and southern gospel music and she held tight to her faith. She loved being a mom and wife. She attended The Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, Warsaw.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis Ousley; daughter, Deborah (and spouse Terry) Kreft; sons, Troy (and spouse Janet) Ousley and Curtis Jr. (and spouse Linda) Ousley all of Claypool; 12 grandchildren: 29 great-grandchildren; and six great- great-grandchildren; five sisters: Mary Jane England, Josephine Fields and Geneva Stephens.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters: Edith Collins, Mable Prater, Bessie Wallen, Eva Kaye Hall and Ethel Hall; two brothers: Elbert and Bobby Hall.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, March 26, with a visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. before the service at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Reverend Don Gibson will be the officiant.
Burial will in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
