Just one more week left in our adult reading program. We have had sixty participants and many winners! Keep reading those books and entering your name in the drawing! Don’t forget that we still have hot chocolate Fridays every Friday till the end of March. Stop in to check out books, fill out your book drawing slips, and grab a cup of hot chocolate.
Please join us at 6 p.m. Monday, March 30, for our Adult Reading Club Superhero Movie Night. We will show recently released movie. The movie will be shown in the library’s meeting room. The movie was released in theaters Aug. 1, 2014, and is Rated PG-13 and is 121 minutes long. A group of intergalactic criminals are forced to work together to stop a fanatical madman from taking control of the universe. The movie stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista. Follow the aroma of the hot buttery popcorn to the meeting room and enjoy a fun space adventure with us.
Lapsit & Spring Story Time
Our Spring Story Time and Lapsit programs will begin next week – the first week of April! Story Time is intended for children from three to six years of age. Story time is always a lot of fun! Each week focuses on a new subject, which is celebrated through books, crafts, and snacks. You definitely do not want to miss out! There are three available sessions: 10:15 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays or 7 p.m. Thursdays. Lapsit is intended for babies, from infant-36 months. Our theme this spring is Bugs! We will do some finger plays, sing some songs, and read a few short books. Lapsit is at 10:45 a.m. Tuesdays. If you have children who would like to be part of either story time or lapsit, you can call or come in and sign up at the desk in the Children’s Department.

Or, if you have questions, come in and ask! We’d love to help you get set up with some sweet tunes!
A Quiet Library Laugh
Q: Why did the librarian slip and fall on the library floor?
A: Because she was in the non-friction section.
