Bell Memorial Public Library events this week:
Zumba classes at the library are held at 7 p.m. every Monday. Costs is $3 donation per class. Also, PiYo exercise classes are available, combining Pilates with yoga. This is held at 6 p.m. Thursdays, except on the last Thursday of the month, when the class will be held at Mentone Elementary School gym. Cost is $3 donation per person.
Check out our regular children’s programs as well. Children’s story time is for children ages three to seven, and runs from 11:45 a.m. until noon every Wednesday. Dr. Seuss on the loose program for kids starts at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 19.
Adults have fun too. Our third iPad and iPhone class for those who have participated in our first two classes runs at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 17. Our beginning class for iPads and iPhones will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 24. The class is limited to 10 participants, and you must sign up.
Adult craft programs include making a bunny brooch or barrette at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, and paper bag scrapbooks at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 17. There is a cost for the programs and you must sign up. Call for more information at (574) 353-7234.
Euchre club meets at 6 p.m. Monday, March 23. Coffee will be provided but bring your own drinks and a snack to share if desired. Teen gaming on the big screen runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 26. Bring a friend for some gaming fun, and be sure to join us for anime night, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, March 27. Ages 15 and up only.
Bell Library also has a book sale. We have some great bargains and magazines are free.
