Elkhart Fair Announces Sunday Addition To Grandstand Concerts
Last month, the Elkhart County 4-H Fair Board announced the 2015 grandstand acts. Tonight they have announced the addition of For King & County at 8 p.m. Sunday, July 26.
For King & Country, comprised of brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone, are hot off winning two Grammy awards in February. The group won Best Contemporary Christian Music Album forĀ Run Wild. Live Free. Love Strong. andĀ Best Contemproary Christian Music Performance/Song for “Messengers,” a collaboration with Lecrae. Their 2012 album, Crave, earned them some attention from Billboard, who named them one of the “New Artists To Watch” in 2012.
The addition of For King & Country finalizes the grandstand acts for the 2015 4-H fair. The full schedule is as follows:
- 8 p.m. Saturday, July 25: Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
- 8 p.m. Sunday, July 26: For King & Country
- 8 p.m. Monday, July 27: Little River Band
- 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 28: Cole Swindell with Clark Mason
- 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 29: Trace Adkins
Grandstand seating for all shows will be free, but on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserved track seats go for $30 each. Those go on sale Saturday, May 30 and can be purchased online, by phone, or at the fair office.
