Suspicious Person Reported Near Goshen School
A Goshen neighborhood is being extremely watchful after a report of a suspicious person in a gray pickup truck following some girls who were walking to school Friday, March 6.
The girls told police the truck approached them at an intersection and started driving slowly behind them as they walked to West Goshen Elementary. Police have been making extra patrols in the area, especially during the times when children are going to or from school.
The driver was described as a white male with a full, dark beard wearing a gray stocking cap and white coat. The truck had “4×4” printed on the bed.
“I didn’t think anything like this would happen in this neighborhood,” said Earl Hossler, whose granddaughter attends West Goshen. “We just make sure that someone is there when school gets out so someone like this can’t pick up our granddaughter.”
Anyone with information about the incident or the driver is asked to call the Goshen Police Department at (574) 533-8661.
