Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following accidents:
7:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, South SR 25 and West CR 250S, Warsaw. Drivers: Mitchell L. Townsend, 24, Wabash Avenue, Rochester, and Angela K. Inglehearn, 24, North CR 650E, Rochester. Townsend looked down, diverting his attention from the road, resulting in a collision with the rear of Inglehearn’s vehicle, which was stopped. Damage up to $5,000.
9:53 p.m. Monday, March 9, East CR 400S, east of South CR 300E, Pierceton. Driver: Samuel D. Silor, 18, South CR 300E, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
Pierceton
Officers with the Pierceton Police Department responded to the following accidents:
7:42 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, East CR 225S and Country Club Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Danielle C. Slone, 22, South Country Club Road, Warsaw, and Elizabeth Brehany, 16, South Country Club Road, Warsaw. Slone pulled out into traffic and struck the side of Brehany’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
5:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, South CR 700E, north of East CR 350S, Pierceton. Driver: Charles E. Shepherd, 66, East Ryerson Road, Pierceton. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to the following accidents:
1:12 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, North Harrison and East Fort Wayne streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Samantha L. Shell, 18, West CR 300S, South Whitley, and Andrea L. Risner, 31, East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Shell pulled out into the intersection and collided with Risner’s car. Damage up to $2,500.
1:11 p.m. Monday, March 9, East Center and South Detroit streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Richard C. Webb, 80, P.O. Box 208, Mentone, and Maria D. Concepcion, 26, Cumberland Drive, Plainfield, Ill. Concepcion rapidly entered the intersection where her vehicle was struck by Webb’s. Damage up to $10,000.
