Joyce Ann Ricker
Joyce Ann Ricker 72, South Bend, formerly of Rochester, passed away at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Sanctuary at Holy Cross, South Bend.
She was born on March 17, 1942 in Waterloo, N.Y., the daughter of Edward Wesley and Mildred (Marsh) O’Neil.
Ms. Ricker had work in medical transcripts at St. Joseph Hospital, South Bend, Four County Counseling, Rochester, and for Med-Quist. She had been a member of R.S.V.P, Red Hatters Club and attended Timberland Bible Church, South Bend. She enjoyed crocheting, flowers and her cats.
Survivors include her children, Deborah (Mark) Estes, Rochester, Brenda (Walter) Van Dusen, Mishawaka, John (Roslyn) Ricker, South Bend, and Joseph (Alison) Ricker, Olive Branch, Miss.; grandchildren, U.S.A.F. Major Justin (Anna) Estes, Goldsboro, N.C., Cynthia (Christopher) Morford, South Bend, Brittany (Derrick) Voorhees, Rochester, Tami-Jo Kensell, Elkhart, Sydney (Tim) Copeland, Chippewa, Pa., Adrian (Neal) Dillon, Lawton, Okla., Ashley Singleton, North Liberty, Kari-Anne Van Dusen, Mishawaka, Emily Van Dusen, Mishawaka, Zoe Ricker, South Bend, Ava Grace Ricker, South Bend, Abigail Ricker, Elizabeth Ricker, Nathan Ricker, Sarah Ricker and Daniela Pineda, all of Olive Branch, Miss.; seventeen great grandchildren, brother, Milton (Lillian) O’Neil, Mishawaka, sister, Mary Davis, Wenatchee, Wash., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert O’Neil.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday March 12 at Timberland Bible Church, 16623 State Road 23, South Bend. Friends may visit one hour prior to service at the church.
