Bill D. Sainer
Bill D. Sainer, 50, of Silver Lake, passed away at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015, in his residence.
On April 20, 1964, he was born in Warsaw, to Chuck and Nedra (Horn) Sainer. He was united in marriage to Jackie Epler on Jan. 31, 1992 in Warsaw, who survives.
A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Bill was a graduate of Warsaw High School, Class of 1982. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp., from 1982–1986, serving two years in California and two years in Okinawa, Japan.
He worked for Warsaw Chemical for 12 years and then Cutting Edge Machine and Tool, New Paris for two years. He then was employed by Zimmer Inc., as a machinist. Bill loved his family, spending time with his children, grandchildren, his great granddaughter and his dogs. He would do anything for Jackie, all she had to do was ask. He was loved by everybody and was always helping people. He also enjoyed camping, NASCAR and anything that had to do with his family.
Bill is survived by his wife of 23 years: Jackie Sainer, Silver Lake; five children: David Sainer, Pierceton; Kassi Newton, Tucson, Ariz.; Jared (Emma) Sainer, Winona Lake; Jill (Bill) Greenwood, Pierceton; and Holly Hoover, Pierceton; his mother: Nedra Dobbins, Warsaw; one sister: Terri Mumford, Silver Lake; two brothers: Tony Sainer, Pierceton; and Larry Sainer, Warsaw; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter; and many loving family members in Sallisaw, Okla.
Bill was preceded in death by his father and two grandfathers.
Visitation hours will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 8, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A celebration of life service will be at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 8, in the funeral chapel, with military honors provided by American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126, Warsaw. Burial will be at a later date.
