Jeaneen L. Snyder
Jeaneen L. Snyder, 78, went to be with her lord at 4:23 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester.
She was born on Feb. 17, 1937, in Springfield, Ohio, to Lowell Moore and Maureen (Sanders) Moore. She was a 1955 graduate of Plymouth High School, Plymouth. She married Sanford C. Snyder on June 12, 1955, in Plymouth.
She spent most of her life in Plymouth. She was a homemaker and a nanny to several families in Plymouth. Jeaneen attended Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church; taught Sunday School in her younger years; loved children; and enjoyed all that goes along with being a homemaker – especially cooking and making crafts.
She is survived by her son: Dr. Stephen J. (Debbie) Snyder, Upland; daughter: Lisa (Tim) Mundinger, Winona Lake; five grandchildren: Micah Mundinger, Chicago; Elizabeth (Ross) Weaver, Fort Wayne; Ben (Rachel) Mundinger, Moline, Ill.; Stephanie (Travis) Booth, Winnetka, Ill.; Ryan (Olivia) Snyder, Indianapolis; four great-grandchildren: Jackson, Samuel, Piper and Avery; brother: Ronald (Mimi) Moore, Hobart; sister: R. Carol Skinner, Carmel.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Sanford C. Snyder, March 7, 1991; great-granddaughter: Adelyn Joy Weaver, May 7, 2014; and her parents.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, March 6, at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, March 6, at the funeral home. Pastor Bruce Barlow, Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church will officiate. A private burial will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
