UPDATE: Amber Alert Issued For Two Indianapolis Children
UPDATE: The Amber Alert for Aaron and Emms Blackwell was cancelled as of 2 a.m. today at the request of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Both children were located alive.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the report of two abducted children from 1215 Lasalle Street, Indianapolis.
The children are brother and sister and are both fair-skinned African Americans. The brother’s name is Aaron Blackwell, age 16, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 180 pounds, black hair and brown eyes, last known to be wearing a black bathrobe.
The sister’s name is Emma Blackwell, age 13, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 150 pounds, black hair and brown eyes, last known to be wearing pink and white pajamas.
The children were last seen at 3 a.m. this morning when they were reported to have been forcibly abducted at gun-point by armed suspects from the Lasalle Street address in Indianapolis and are believed to be in extreme danger.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department say the children were likely abducted by an African American male who goes by the name of ‘Jay’ and is described as being 5 feet 11 inches tall, 250 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. No further information is available for the other suspects and there is no vehicle description.
