Flora Bynum
Flora Bynum, 72, passed away at 3:37 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born on Feb. 26, 1942, in Reid, Miss., to Otis Phillips and Beatrice (Vance) Phillips. She lived in Warsaw for the past 30 years. She worked in health care as a CNA and was a foster parent. She was a member of the Warsaw United Pentecostal Church and Bright Star Church of God and Christ, Chicago. Flora loved to fish.
She is survived by a daughter: Theresa Clark, Warsaw; grandchildren: Shammona Clark, Chicago; Claude Clark, Warsaw; Sharica Clark, Fort Wayne; daughter: Terri (Tammy) Taylor, Fort Wayne; grandchildren: Antonio Castillo, Warsaw; Teremy Taylor, Fort Wayne; Tenise Taylor, Fort Wayne; Terome Taylor, Fort Wayne; seven great-grandchildren: Tyler, Kierston, Dre, Tre, Iyanna, D’auvionne and Ah’lyah; sister: Bertha Turner, Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; several sisters and brothers.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, at Warsaw United Pentecostal Church, Warsaw. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, at Warsaw United Pentecostal Church. Pastor Dan Cox, Warsaw United Pentecostal Church, Warsaw will officiate. Burial will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
