Doris M. Frantz
Doris M. Frantz, 84, Warsaw, formerly of Sidney, died peacefully in her sleep and went to be with her heavenly Father at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.
She was born Aug. 4, 1930, in Bracken, to Allison A. and Amanda M. (Walton) Hill. She married Russell Frantz Jr. on July 3, 1948.
Shew was a homemaker and employed with Heckman Bindery for 25 years. Doris was an avid fan of high school and college sports. She was her children and grandchildren’s biggest fan and supporter. She had a deep love for her family and the Lord. She was a member of Packerton United Methodist Church, Packerton.
She is survived by her husband: Russell Frantz Jr., Warsaw; two sons: Stan (Lynn) Frantz, South Whitley; and Neal (Connie) Frantz, Fremont; two daughters: Robin (Todd) Hughes, Pierceton; Kelly (Mark) Lybarger, Warsaw; one sister: Opal Gray, Sidney; nine grandchildren: Adam, Alex and Alyson Frantz; Travis and Renee Frantz; Tanner and Emily Hughes; Lance and Lindsay Lybarger.
She was preceded in death by one son; four brothers; and one sister.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 SR 114 W., North Manchester and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at Packerton United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at teh church. Pastor Bill Wood will officiate. Burial will be in Ulrey Memorial Cemetery, Silver Lake.
